About Me

Adding a Little Spring Décor

With the long harsh winter nearly over, I am excited about the wonders of spring. I can’t wait to unpack my spring wardrobe from storage. I’m also looking forward to spending some time outdoors in my flower garden. However, before I venture outdoors, I need to give the inside of my home some attention by adding a little spring décor. During this time of year, I decorate my home with pastel, bright hues. For instance, I like to fill white dainty teacups with beautiful artificial flowers. I also like to display whimsical items such as a multicolored Easter bunny. On this blog, you will learn how to transform the interior of your home this spring.

New Home? Hire A Designer For The Whole Package

by Melinda Collins

There are few things more stressful than trying to build your own home. There are thousands of choices to make, many of which you may not feel experienced enough to make on your own. Fortunately, you can get help by hiring a new home designer. Here are three ways a designer can help you through the process of building and finishing your new home.

Walk Through Decisions

What type of wood would be best for this area? Does it matter? Will this layout feel natural, or would something else be better? If you are inexperienced with designing a new home, you may struggle with big and small details alike. However, you do not need to brave the waters of home design alone. Instead, you can hire a new home designer to help you figure out the decisions that matter. They will help you by laying out options, giving you suggestions, and encouraging you to make smart choices.

A Liason Between You And Your Contractor

If you have multiple teams working on your home, you should know that they do not always work together. Sometimes it can be hard to get everything figured out or to even know what is going on in your home's construction. However, hiring a home designer can help you to have a professional connection with your contractor. Instead of trying to contact them and getting no response, your home designer can reach out. Since they are also working on the home, your contractor may respect them enough to respond and keep them apprised of what is going on.

Parlez-Vous Construction?

There is a lot of vocab that goes into building a home. If you have no experience, you may be overwhelmed with all of the things there are to know, along with the decisions that need to accompany them. Instead of trying to figure it out on your own, hiring a home designer can help you to keep your head and understand all of the decisions that are going into your new home. A home designer can really be an advocate for you in the whole process.

In conclusion, a new home designer can put the finishing touches on a beautiful home. It is smart to just plan on hiring a designer and then factoring that cost into the cost of building your home. Instead of trying the figure out the details of your home design on your own and struggling with it for years, hire a designer to get it right the first time. Find a new home designer in your area to get started today.
